You can see the full book online here of my worm series. You can even purchase the book if you so wish. The degree show went down really well so thanks to everyone who supported it. Give me a shout if you got one of my stickers, could be fun to see where they all turned up.

At the end of the day, all you're left with is a big pile of shit
That's a wrap on the worm diaries! If you want to see the rest of the photos then you'll have to come to my exhibition (details to follow.) Now I actually have to get some real life friends.

Removal Notice
I've been slacking a bit recently but here's another idea I tried out. I've narrowed down my technique to looking at simple blocks colours which really draw out the worm. Nothing too complicated or busy.

Mind if I take a picture?
Here are some of my latest shots. I went to check out the Ikon and to my surprise they don't have a problem with you taking photographs. Great! So I took the opportunity to try out my confused eyes. (I now have a whole tub of different sets of eyes to choose from.) I think they look brilliant although I'm considering making some eyebrows to improve it.
This is the worm at Robert Orchardson's work, endless facade. Looks like a soft mint to me.

Catching a video...I don't even remember what it was.

Moving day
So I've been doing a lot of work on the planning stage of this project. I have a whole bunch of ideas for different scenarios to place my worm in. It's shaping into my imaginary friend.
This is how I felt the day I moved into my first flat on my own.

Day out at the res
I took my Play Doh worm to the reservoir in Edgbaston today. I got so many weird looks from people! I don't know if it was me, the worm or my camera. Speaking of which, I've bought myself a brand spanking new 60mm macro lens to play with. Here are some pictures.

So what did you do today?
I'm trying to get together a figure/model/doll/thing for my 'little people' project. Here's what I came up with today.

Probably the best smell in the world
I'm looking at designing my own 'little person' that will probably either look like me, have my personality or a version of personality. It's a work in progress but I figured the best way to get my idea from a feeling to something a bit more substantial I need to play around with it... and yes that means 20 tubs of Super Rainbow colours. With accessories. Fantastic.

FMP
The time has finally come after 4 long years for my final major project to begin. Worth 50% of my degree it's safe to say I am shitting it. The kind of things I am looking at are miniature figurines set into every day situations, looking closely at scale and the things in life we take for granted. Inspiration from 'Marcel the shell with shoes on' which does not fail to make me laugh again and again.
You've probably seen the street artists Slinkachu's 'Little people in the big city.' These are a couple of my favourites and how great is this, an exhibition next week? Hell yes.
